The family's engineering firm. FDEV designs, builds and runs software, data and AI systems for healthcare services companies and private equity firms.
Overview
FDEV grew out of Frontier Computing, a Logan software company founded in 1979 that built hospital and health records software through the 1980s and 1990s. It took its own name in 2015.
In 2018 FDEV took on the systems of Pure Infusion and grew alongside it. Its tools are now in use across Pure's centers, and it runs more than 50 AI agents for BUILD Capital Partners, with a person approving anything that leaves.
FDEV is a Jacobsen family company and works alongside the office.
